I want to change my ECU, i found one on Ebay but the numbers are different.
Mine has an "A" at the end.

it is the right one if you have the old MPI (with 170 hp)

I have the old one my car is an 1988.
Can you tell me why the number is different, was there some kind of modefication?

Edit: the upper photo is the ecu from my own car, the lower photo is the one frome Ebay.

Oké thank you,
Another question; How is the ECU connected? Mine is hanging loose and resting on the wiring and carpet, i think it should be higher in the cooling canal.
